X Tobi Lookbook

Allergies have arrived, it finally feels somewhat like spring, and my hair just keeps getting lighter and lighter. Maybe it is the fresh air or my pink-coral hair but I have been enjoying soft delicates and experimenting on shapes and colors. With spring in full bloom I updated my closet and went on testing shapes and colors with the help of Tobi. I shopped from Tobi about a year ago and was happy to try a few new pieces, creating three very different vibes.

Firmoo

I recently decided to try a few pairs of prescription eye glasses from Firmoo.com.
The first pair that I picked is a clear rectangular frame with dark purple on the side. I have to admit, I am liking this new trend of clear or translucent frames. hehehe.

My second pair are a pair of Cat Eye glasses. I loved that Firmoo has a category specifically for Cat Eye glasses because well, I adore Cat Eye but wouldn't ever commit to an expensive pair. The only awkward part about this pair is the top part of the frame is a different shade of black, almost brown, from the bottom and I personally do not like how that looks on my face. This pair also does not fit my face and sit as well as the first pair.
Overall, I was pleased to find Rx glasses for a cheap price - some only $19! For first time buyers, there is a 15% off discount.

Soft Crushin'

Pom poms and soft rose gold puts me in the mood for Valentine's Day. ;)

This is not a "sexy" outfit persay yet I feel pretty and approachable and yes, quite sexy in my own skin. The faux fur from my coat adds to an extra layer of warmth. Anyway I am shocked that it is February and sure, soon enough, it will be March, April, May and the summer months. Well I don't want to think about that right now. I just want to enjoy the weekend instead of focusing my time on wondering how the later days will be. We all let our minds wonder into the future which can be fun, exciting and interesting but sometimes it can become debilitating and anxiety provoking. In the work that I do, it becomes clear that we all have our limits on what we have control over and it can be darn scary to realize that we do NOT have that control. So I am going to spend this weekend {trying} to stay in the present and let go.

{Wow I did not expect myself to go on a tangent!}

I am also wearing my favorite of the five frames I tried from Warby Parker from two posts ago... the Kensett in Atlantic Blue! It was a close call with Burroughs in Canton Blue and but overall, the slightly larger frame was more fitting.

CaseApp

Since I had a phone in high school, I always found ways to keep my phone accessorized and telling of my individual style. The same goes with my laptop! I have had this laptop for two years now and it was time for an upgrade in case cover! CaseApp is a website that allows you to make custom laptop skins and customized iPhone cases. I found the website very easy to use. For the iPhone case, I chose to get a hardcover case and the quality is really nice. I am excited to give this iPhone case to my sister - she loves sharks and customizing and adding a hammerhead shark onto the case was perfect! For the laptop cover, I went with the current popular marble design and added diamonds on the covers.

Use "WINSCRIBBLES20" to get 20% off your order, expiring a week after this post. With Valentine's Day coming up, this can be a gift for anyone. :)

Warby Parker Spring 2016

Warby Parker's Spring collection is inspired by the circus, which deputed January 12th this year! Already an owner of two eyeglasses from Warby Parker, there was no doubt that I wanted to try the new collection through their Home Try-On Program! It is simple to use the Home Try-On Program. I picked 5 frames to try, put in my shipping address, and received my package within a few days. A prepaid return shipping label was included. Heck, that made everything so convenient and easy.

Frames from Warby Parker start at $95 and for each pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.

I picked the following five frames: Preston in Maraschino, Haskell in Crystal with Maple, Finch in Bellini, Burroughs in Canton Blue, and Kensett in Atlantic Blue.

Here is a preview of me with the frames on!

Current: AIBI Watch Edition

These are my current accessories. I just realized that I have a mix of silver/white gold, yellow gold and rose gold accessories even though my favorite is a tie between yellow and rose gold. My pandora bracelet was a gift and it has a panda, purple stone, and lucky cat... I am obsessed with pandas and the lucky cat. The gold earrings are a pair that I bought from India a few years ago when I traveled there. The ring with blue topaz, my birthday month stone, was one that I bought for myself and the heartbeat ring was one that I found at the flea market. And then there is the rose gold steel watch from AIBI.

I am wearing the Fabio Los Angeles Rose Golden watch from AIBI watches. It entails a stainless steel adjustable strap, which is great because I have tiny wrists. I was able to adjust the strap easily to the best fit. I like that the watch face is simple and clean, making it easy to read and well, tell time haha. This watch is less than $100, and AIBI is offering a 30% discount with the code WINNW.

What are your favorite accessories?!?!

Dresses: Bridesmaid Edition

I love planning and fantasizing about my future wedding. I always get inspiration from other people's weddings and think, hey, I like that detail, and no, I don't like that detail. When I saw a wedding party taking photos by the Boston Pier a few weeks ago, I loved their gorgeous deep-red color scheme. Just LOVED IT. Yes, I am a Pinterest user and have a board called "Wedding Ideas," and something red is pinned in there.

I popped myself onto Promtimes.co.uk which has a variety of bridesmaids dresses to choose from, in several colors and at affordable prices. You can click on the dress style and then choose your color of choice. You may also narrow down your choices through silhouette type, color, neckline, hemline, sleeve length, and fabric. The website is easy to navigate, and accepts payments from PayPal. If you are not looking for a bridesmaids or wedding dress, they also have prom and evening dresses to choose from.

I love rich colors and a sweetheart neckline - those are my personal favorites but I made sure to include some halter and strappy necklines. I like that Promtimes.co.uk has bridesmaids dresses in knee-length and tea-length. Below I chose a few of my favorite bridesmaid dress styles, knowing that I would allow my future bridesmaids to pick their own dress style that accentuates their figure. Dark red or rich colors are my top choices! :)

How does your fantasy wedding look like? What would be your color?? I would love to hear your thoughts! :)

xoxo,
